The hotel Romer Waikiki at The Ambassador opened a new eatery, Favorite Son, which is open for dining from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with bar hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The 2,166-square-foot restaurant and bar has a "deli meets diner" menu, featuring fruit plates, acai bowls, salads, pizzas, hoagies and protein bowls. The bar offers a collection of cocktails with fun names, like POGstar Martini and Bramble-Lama-Ding-Dong. It's expected to be a gathering spot for guests and locals.
"With Favorite Son we wanted to create a gathering place where neighbors feel at home and guests feel like neighbors," Patric Yumul, CEO of TableOne Hospitality, said in a news release. "A place where everyone is welcome, whether you are sun-kissed from the ocean, having a date night or gathering for a boozy brunch. We are excited to continue serving the amazing community and look forward to being part of this iconic brand."
