Norwegian Cruise Line's two Prima Plus ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna (launching in 2025 and 2026, respectively), will introduce new features for play and relaxation, including a reimagined game zone and a clay sauna in the spa.

The two ships are part of a new class from NCL that builds upon the Prima class that debuted in 2022. The Prima Plus class ships will be larger and offer refined designs and features from their elder cousins.

The Game Zone will be an evolution of the Galaxy Pavilion and arcade venues on previous ships. The zone will include larger and redesigned spaces and include the Bull's Eye Bar, a full-service bar with interactive dart games that automatically keep score.

The zone will also feature Tee Time, a beefed-up version of mini-golf on the Prima class ships that feature a Wonders of the World theme. The mini-golf area will be two-and-a-half times larger than on the Prima class ships and offer 12 interactive holes across two decks.

Both the Bull's Eye Bar and Tee Time are on the Prima ships (Norwegian Prima and Viva) but are not directly connected to the Galaxy Pavilion.

Like the Galaxy Pavilion, the Game Zone will include virtual-reality experiences such as the Space Racing and Beat Hero games. Retro arcade games like Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Down the Clown will also be available.

Both ships will also have a pickleball court in its own space separate from The Stadium.

Norwegian Aqua spa offerings

The new ships will feature a redesigned Mandara Spa and Salon, with new services like the clay sauna, which NCL said revitalizes the skin through detoxifying cleansing and gentle exfoliation.

The thalassotherapy pool in the spa will feature loungers said to promote relaxation, smooth muscle tension and improve circulation. The spas will also offer IV drip therapy to boost hydration and enhance energy, immunity and overall well-being.

The thermal suite on both ships will have twice as many heated loungers compared to the Prima ships and feature a charcoal sauna, ice room, salt room and flotation salt pool, like on the Prima ships. The Pulse Fitness Center will be redesigned.

The Aqua, due out in April 2025, will sail seven-day Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral until August, when it cruises from New York to Bermuda through October before shifting to Miami for an Eastern Caribbean season.

The Luna will cruise western and eastern Caribbean itineraries out of Miami when it debuts in April 2026.
