Travel Leaders Network announced in May that current president Roger Block will step down on Dec. 31 and transition to senior advisor to TLN. Lovell currently oversees TLN and other brands as president of Travel Leaders Group, but now he will be more involved in the operations of the travel agency network, which represents over 5,700 agency locations in the U.S. and Canada.

"With its explosive expansion, coupled with its more sophisticated and powerful agency network, Travel Leaders Network demands that Lovell take on a more active role," TLN said in a release.

On his LinkedIn page, Lovell wrote, "I am very excited to be taking a more active role in the industry's leading consortium. We have the best members and best staff. I want to thank Roger Block for setting a strong foundation for the future, and I look forward to continuing to work with him."

Before joining Internova's executive team, Lovell was president of Vacation.com, which was absorbed into Travel Leaders Network in 2016. He founded Internova's nonprofit arm, the Family Bonds Foundation, which is currently working to support travel advisors affected by the recent hurricanes.
