G Adventures will introduce five, 10-passenger sailing yachts for 2025 Greek islands itineraries.
The 57-foot-long yachts will each have five cabins that can be configured for twin or double beds. The vessels will be deployed in Greece ahead of the 2025 season running from April to October.
The tour operator said the purpose-built yachts will feature a fully equipped galley, a communal area designed for building connections among travelers and a sundeck with an outdoor shower to rinse off after swimming.
"All five boats have been fitted with solar panels and state-of-the-art engines and generators that minimize environmental impact without sacrificing performance," said Vince Donnelly, director of global sailing at G Adventures. "Recycled and natural materials have been prioritized in the boats' construction, ensuring all materials are free from harmful substances."
The Greek island trips depart from Santorini or Mykonos and run from eight to 15 days.
Each itinerary will be led by a "Skipper CEO" (a chief experience officer, also called a guide), who will be tasked with sharing hidden spots far from the well-known tourist areas. Shoreside excursions will enable travelers to interact with local people and support communities that may not usually see a lot of tourists, the operator said.
"This commitment to the environment and spreading tourism dollars to lesser-visited communities on smaller Greek islands sets the bar high for operators in the region and ensures we'll deliver an incredible experience for our travelers that is simultaneously kind to our planet and its people," Donnelly said.
Prices start at $1,679 per person.
The new yachts add to G Adventures' sailing itineraries in the Canary Islands, Croatia, Italy, the Maldives, Montenegro and Thailand.
