Cruise Planners, No. 22 on Travel Weekly's Power List, introduced an AI tool for advisors that has been trained on the franchisor's programs and tools as well as on destinations, suppliers and itineraries.

Ask Maxx, built on the AI tool Maxx Intelligence, was designed for advisors to quickly retrieve information. It analyzes data within proprietary Cruise Planners' systems in addition to public data online, making it a more bespoke tool for franchisees.

"With its ability to provide fast and accurate responses, Ask Maxx serves as a personal assistant, offering a time-saving advantage by quickly retrieving details on partners, destinations, sailings and more and can even expand the 'conversation' by answering related questions about the content," Cruise Planners said in a release. "What once took several steps and minutes can now be found in just seconds."

Also works on mobile devices

Ask Maxx and Maxx Intelligence are also now available on CP Mobile, so advisors can access the tools via iOS and Android phones.

In addition to its AI-focused announcements, Cruise Planners shared a number of new technology upgrades, from directly integrating VAX VacationAccess bookings into CP Maxx and video upload to the CP Maxx Video Library.

Cruise Planners, based in Coral Springs, Fla., made its announcements during the recent CP World Convention held partially in Fort Lauderdale and partially aboard Princess Cruises' Sun Princess.
