The Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix is revving its engines for a second race on the Strip this fall, and resorts are gearing up with special packages and viewing areas.

Two practices are scheduled on Thursday, Nov. 21; another practice and qualifying will be on Friday, Nov. 22; and the 50-lap race is set for 10 p.m. Saturday Nov. 23. Grand Prix officials reported that 315,000 attended last year's race, won by Max Verstappen.

Just a sample of the high-octane plans along the 3.8-mile circuit:

• The Cosmopolitan boasts a new poolside viewing experience at its Boulevard Pool Deck (overlooking turn 14 on the course) with DJs and TVs with a closed-circuit broadcast of the race along with food and beverages.

Single-day general admission tickets are $250 (plus tax and fees) per person, per day for Thursday and Friday, $350 per person for race day on Saturday. Three-day general admission passes are $700 per person. Tickets include snacks and nonalcoholic beverages. There will be upgraded food options and a cash bar.

• MGM Resorts International has several packages at the Heineken Silver Main Grandstand, featuring prime seating, 20% discounted room rates, and access to F1 Fan Zone activations.

"We are elevating the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix experience by offering our guests a wider variety of activations across our portfolio," said Andrew Lanzino, vice president of citywide events strategy for MGM Resorts. "This year, fans can enjoy activities ranging from one-day tickets at the Cosmopolitan's rooftop party to the incredible VIP festivities at the Bellagio Fountain Club."

• The Caesars Palace Experience, a three-day, standing-room-only ticket, begins at $850. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and there will be live entertainment and interactive F1 activations.

• Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub rooftop terrace will offer race fans track views from The Cromwell. Three-night ticket packages are on sale now.

Admission starts at $1,500 (plus taxes and fees) per person and features standing-room viewing of the race, cocktails, beer, wine and food. The Table Package, with admission for up to four guests priced at $7,500, includes a  dedicated table and personalized service. The $12,000 Bungalow Package for up to six guests has sweeping views of the Beachclub and features an exclusive track-viewing area.

"Drai's is synonymous with extraordinary experiences, and we are excited to up the ante at this year's Las Vegas Grand Prix with our exclusive watch party," said Dustin Drai, president of Drai's Management Group. "Race fans will enjoy the best of both worlds -- the adrenaline-pumping action of Formula 1 and the unparalleled luxury and entertainment that Drai's is known for."

• Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which opened in December just after last year's race, and David Grutman's Groot Hospitality will transform the Paddock Club rooftop into an open-air LIV Las Vegas.

The venue will feature VIP bottle service and live music sets. For more information, contact the Las Vegas Grand Prix Sales Team at  or by calling 1-844-VEGASGP.

• Chef Gordon Ramsay will transform the trackside F1 Garage into Ramsay's Garage for three days of diverse cuisine. With Ramsay himself overseeing, guest chefs will host live cooking stations the first night. There will be a pop-up of Ramsay's London restaurant, Lucky Cat, on the second night and an homage to the U.K. with his Cool Britannia the third night, a $35,000 ticketed experience that will provide race fans with the ultimate VIP access. It includes access to the working areas for F1 drivers, team principals, staff and media. Guests can also walk the pit lane, go on tours of the track and be near the podium celebrations.

"Being a massive F1 fan, I've seen firsthand how intertwined food and the sport is," Ramsay said. "So having been to so many races as a spectator, Ramsay's Garage truly is a dream come true."

Ramsay's Garage tickets can be purchased via email  or by visiting the F1 Experiences website.

• Music superstars Ludacris, Alesso and OneRepublic will headline the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere Stage. The view from the festival-like area under Sphere includes views of the most challenging turns of the race and through the chicane, which spans turns seven through nine.

Fans with ticketed experiences in the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere will have access to performances, Club Magenta by T-Mobile and complimentary food, water and soft drinks. Ticket options include three-day tickets with assigned seats and three-day tickets with standing-room-only views and access to viewing platforms on a first-come, first-serve basis.

More racing action

Another race series, the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, will augment this year's edition of F1 Grand Prix, providing additional action for ticketed fans.

Practice will begin at 8:05 p.m. Nov. 21 with qualifying at 11:30 p.m. that night. The first race is set for 8:10 p.m. Nov. 22, and the second race will be 6:20 p.m. Saturday. Each race will be about 35 minutes.

"Last year we made the dream of racing down Las Vegas Boulevard a reality, and we are thrilled that we can now offer fans twice the racing action for the price of a single ticket," said Silvia Bellot, vice president of sporting and race operations at Las Vegas Grand Prix.
